Whatever you feel about the activity of selling you cannot ignore it. These days the only way to be completely secure is to have total control over the capture and cultivation of your clients which depends more on organisation and control than it does on talent.
I firmly believe that great sales people are made not born and that is what this blog is all about. My posts are composed from a wide range of sales ideas, techniques, examples, stories and tools that can all be used to make you more effective at winning and keeping clients.
Added to that I like to tap into my extensive network of friends, colleagues and clients by asking them to write guest posts from time to time. Over the years I have been lucky enough to get to know some very talented people so you can also expect to read some pretty interesting and thought-provoking stuff from them.
Finally I like to throw in alternative posts about life in general. Some of them are aimed at helping people to become more effective whilst others are about work-life balance; a subject very close to my own heart.
